Whether Grease is an old memory you’d like to reminisce with one more time or it’s something you’ve always heard about but have never seen, go to Toby’s in Baltimore and enjoy what’s left of these “Summer Nights.”
Overall, there is every possible reason to hurry and see this amazing production.
Hairspray is good; it is solid. There are some top-notch performances and some WOW moments, but it is not quite the same home run that the theatre nailed in their last several shows.
As always, Toby’s offers amazing Broadway-quality costumes, set pieces, lighting, and props; and delivers a piece of nostalgia that will truly have you saying “There’s no place like home!”
In this busy holiday season, January 8th might come faster than you know, and you do not want to miss this production. It is a perfectly delightful reminder of everything wonderful about this time of the year and an absolute must-see.
This is the Mid-Atlantic premiere of this incredibly hysterical script, and everyone should check it out. It is one of the funniest new shows to come to town, and this production team and cast does it amazing justice.
